AGRIBASE
Before we were BIDEV we were Agribase, we built custom solutions for agribusiness with a heavy focus on Live Export. Those solutions (LIVEX &TAGEX) are still in use and we still offer support for those products.
Over the years our business focus slowly shifted to BI front and centre where previously it was only a small part of our services, our name change in 2020 reflects our new strategic direction
New Stuff – Chance Of Some Cloud
The cloud is just a computer at someone else’s house. OK probably actually a really big air-conditioned warehouse with awesome internet, but still, a physical location, not in the actual clouds. And probably safer than your on-premise solutions if you’re a small business without an IT security expert in-house.
Why do we like it? Because we don’t have to worry about running upgrades, patching or security. Because we like a subscription model over a big outlay for programs we might not want forever. It doesn’t have to be for everything, lots of businesses have some cloud solutions and some on-premise, let us know if you’d like a cloud product assessed.
Old Stuff – still using Access?
We’re here for you, we love Access, and we’re still supporting 20-year-old apps that go like a train and probably still will 20 years from now. If you have legacy Access apps in-house and your big red A thing isn’t spitting out answers anymore we can probably patch it up. Or, if you’re thinking about updating a legacy database to something cloud-based drop us a line
